TheraMatrix: The Pioneer of National On-site Rehabilitation Services:

Since 1983, TheraMatrix has been providing on-site industrial rehabilitation services. As the pioneer of this innovative, cost-effective and quality-oriented program, TheraMatrix was selected as one of two exclusive national providers of on-site physical rehabilitation to UAW-Ford and was the exclusive provider for Chrysler Corporation.

As a part of its Quality Improvement Program, UAW-Ford has audited the quality and impact that the physical therapy services provided by TheraMatrix have had on its employees. Since 1998, program quality audits have been conducted by an independent third party organization. The organization chosen is the nationally acclaimed educational institution, Johns Hopkins University Medical Center (JHUMC). Studies conducted by JHUMC consistently rated TheraMatrix’s on-site rehabilitation services in the 97th percentile, with savings greater than $50 Million, over a three-year period.

TheraMatrix has proven successful in the development and implementation of customer-specific on-site rehabilitation programs. TheraMatrix successfully works with labor and management, and understands that quality and teamwork are necessary to manage successful on-site industrial rehabilitation programs.

Research demonstrates that on-site intervention early in the injury phase significantly decreases the time and reduces the costs incurred between injury and the return to work.
